A Sketching.

I found this dress that Anna Dello Russo was wearing on her website.

I was sketching like a few weeks ago, and I remember drawing a dress VERY similar to this one. 

It starts off skinny, skinny, and goes down into a pouffy mess, haha.

when i saw this, it automatically made me flashback to the time when I

drew something very similar to this. 

anyway, it's a beautiful dress. Enough said.

One Reason Why...

Well, hmm, how do I begin? 

It's a very simple message that I am trying to send across, 

but maybe not everyone would understand my point of view. 

Okay, well I've explained many times before in my other blog entry's that I want to go to a college in New York. 

Oh, trust me, I have my reasons...

 or should I say reason. 

You see, I've always promised myself, that if I go to any kind of college, what ever it is, what ever it might be, It would have to be located somewhere in New York, preferably Manhattan!!

That's where all the glitz and the glam is at. thats where the life IS. 

There's only one reason why i want to go to a college in N.Y.C. 

It's very simple.

My reason is:

Fashion is constantly changing. There's constantly new trends, new styles, new people, new looks. 

it doesn't end. It never ends. It's always aspiring and inspiring and just magnificently brilliant. (in my eyes.)

You need to always be on top of your game. You need to have passion and love for it. You need something or someone who's always pushing you to do better. You need an inspiration to keep you going. and that is it. NEW YORK IS MY INSPIRATION! It's one of my only inspirations to get bigger in this industry. 

When i go to New York, I feel like I'm in a different world. A different time and place. 

New York is so new, so Fresh and classy. So ''night-life-ee" and so edgy. 

It's so romantic, so inventive. It's so inspiring and alluring! It's all of those things.

 this is exactly why I never wanted to be anywhere else but in N.Y.C.

If I'm going to be in the Fashion-Industry, it's going to require me to always be full of energy and life. 

It just keeps getting better, and there's no end to it. so somewhere like N.Y.C would be a perfect place to keep me going. It would make me want to be someone, Constantly.

It's just what i need to feel like I'm a boss! LOL!

N.Y.C will always, always keep me inspired and interested, and there's no other place on the face of this planet, that has the power to do that. 

actually, I'm going to Queens right now :) !!!! woohoo win! 

i can't wait to leave this one-horse town, for the city!!

My College Curiosity.

Oh how i wish i could be one of the lucky ones.

or should i say, blessed ones. because nothing that happens, is by luck.

It's by being blessed, I believe, weather good or bad.

So I was searching up some cool new fashion colleges located in New York, and I found this college:

So anyhow, I figured out that this college only accepts a select few a year, which tells me that their a very competitive college and only want people with real, raw talent. 

I will admit, competitive colleges DO scare me a little, only because I never liked competitions, ever since I was a little kid. who knows? maybe someday I'll grow to love them. But for now, it's a big fear for me. Maybe because I'm just afraid of failure, but I know I shouldn't be.

"Failing at something, doesn't mean you failed." 

You only fail, once you don't try, or once you quit.

That's failure. 

(I just thought of that saying by the way, i didn't find it anywhere.) 

 So, incase anyone tries to put you down someday, you tell them, and you let them know, that your are a very strong person with many capabilities. Even if you haven't succeeded at everything you expected to, that doesn't mean you won't succeed in other things. You've just got to find that thing that makes your heart skip a beat, and chase after it with all your might. 

So, back to the original topic, I found this college among my internet roaming for Fashion Colleges, and I really loved it. This is one thing I've always promised myself, that if I go to ANY college, it's going to be in N.Y.C, no matter what. Only because, New York, is a truly magical place. It keeps you inspired and alive, and it keeps inspiring no matter what. New York IS the Fashion Capital of the world, in my eyes.

So is London, Milan, Paris, Los Angeles and Tokyo. 

(I bolded London, because it's apparently the number one fashion capital ranking in the world, before, \

New York City. but that doesn't matter. who knows, I might visit all these places someday. I would love to, no doubt about it. 

Anyhooo, I haven't been able to blog as much as I would like to, because of school. 

I don't know man, Sophomore year is pretty damn hard so far.

Whatever. My school doesn't interest me, the world does. 

I'm just going through all of this, just so I can get to the next step of my life, and the next one, and the next one, and the next one. It's all one step at a time.

i really DO find their commercial inspiring and exhilarating and magnificent and genuine . all these nice things, haha. uhh, i can't wait for my life to start going somewhere. I know highschool is fun, but college is where it's alllll at.

I guess you could say this is my first Independent Fashion Blog. I’m really excited to be a part of this blog. Honestly, there is nothing better than being surrounded by people that love the same interests as you. J . This is a great place to talk about how I feel living this fashionistah lifestyle I want to live, and where best to say it but here? So anyway, I’ll tell you a little about my interests. I play piano, I sing, I draw, and I love Astronomy. I honestly think space is one of the most beautiful things to ever exist on the face of this galaxy. It inspires me too, when it comes to making designs and thinking up ideas for clothing lines. I’m into making the designs for clothing and accessories, rather than actually making them by hand you know what I mean? I like to be the ‘idea’ behind the process. I want to be the one to think up the designs and trends. So I prefer being a Fashion Designer over any other Fashion field. I realize that I have to start small, to get big. It’s going to be a rough road, but oh, it’ll be worth it. I’m hoping that I’ll really find my way someday in this industry and become something great! I want nothing more in life, then to do what I love, and what makes me happy, and just love it all the way! I recently told my mother, “I’m not going to be successful in anything unless it’s pure fun! I need something that’s exciting and keeps me going; Keeps me on the tips of my feet. Otherwise, I’ll get bored and leave.” So I guess you could say I‘m an adventurous person who wants to experience things, go places, and see people. One day, InshAllah, this will all happen. One day. <3
